Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! 7th graders are in for a wonderful year!
I am Mrs. Flores! This will be my 12th year teaching at Anza, but my 21st year teaching overall! I started out in the Flowing Wells School District, and then joined the Sahuarita School District. I taught 5th grade for 19 years, 6th grade one year, and now I am enjoying 7th grade Social Studies. After the first week of school, let alone the year, you will get to know me quite well!
Please do not hesitate to speak up when you have questions or concerns. I firmly believe in working together to make this year's educational experience the best it can be! I have high expectations and require respect and responsibility, but I also love to laugh and have fun each and every day! As seventh graders, they will be held to a standard of independence and self discipline that may be new or unfamiliar to them. This will be essential to their success. I appreciate your support and participation in their daily academic routine!
It is essential that you set up an account with the Power School Portal if you haven't already! This will allow you to closely monitor your child's academic progress on a regular basis. If you need help with this, please let me know! Thank you.
